FORMRELATED​

FORMrelated, a Thessaloniki-based studio founded in 2011 by architects Konstantinos Theodoridis and Eleni Papaevangelou, creates outstanding architectural and interior design that exceeded even our highest expectations.

NIKOS BAKOULIS​

Celebrated bartender and LINE Bar co-founder Nikos Bakoulis has redefined the bar experience, earning global acclaim and a loyal following. We’re honored to have him curate our cocktail list with his award-winning creativity.

PHYSIS LABORATORY​

This 3rd-generation family-owned pharmacy and laboratory exemplifies a thriving business. True to its ancient Greek name, Physis offers high-end natural products, including our premium bathroom amenities.

RHOECO

Rhoeco, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, is the creator of our signature Modernist Tea Blend. Committed to fair trade and ethical practices, they source organic herbs from certified family farms, with all products locally made and hand-packed with care.

THE GREEK FOUNDATION​

The Greek Foundation is a platform for sharing Greek culture globally, promoting creativity across all forms and connecting artists with the world. As curators of our Thessaloniki Gallery and key collaborators, they’ve played a vital role in shaping The Modernist experience.

2WO+1NE=2

Founded in 2017 by Athenian designers Stella Panagopoulou and Valisia Gotsi, this ethical brand blends deconstructivism, minimalism, and sustainability. Their timeless, finely crafted pieces celebrate local talent and reflect the spirit of The Modernist.

GEORGE VAVATSIS​

George Vavatsis is an established local artist and craftsman whose award-winning pottery work consists of utilitarian objects made of stoneware clay or porcelain – such as the ones he has designed especially for daily life at The Modernist Thessaloniki.

ERGON FOODS​

ERGON is a purveyor of premium quality products, sourced from small, independent suppliers and available in their delis along with a cuisine concept that delivers a delicious modern take on traditional Greek dishes.

KORA BAKERY​

Kora Bakery, our neighbor at The Modernist Athens, is a standout sourdough and viennoiserie bakery. Using long fermentation and top-quality ingredients, they craft nutritious, easily digestible breads and supply our café daily with fresh pastries.

POST-SPECTACULAR​

We have this narrative-driven design lab to thank for our branding and design. Combining their broad experience from the fields of architecture, exhibition staging, graphic design and academia, they have their eye on both form and content.

KOPRIA​

A contemporary flower and garden shop in Exarchia, run by multidisciplinary duo Vasilis and Ifigenia, offering a curated selection of plants and expert advice for homes, offices, and events. Their lush, tropical style shapes the greenery at The Modernist Athens Café and Roof Garden, which they also maintain year-round.

MARIOS VISVIKIS

Marios Visvikis is a musician, composer, and acoustic instrument maker based in Athens. Blending traditional and experimental sounds, he creates unique music for recordings and live sets. With 27 years in the city’s nightlife as a renowned DJ, he now brings his deep expertise to our events as resident DJ.

KOKU CONCEPT​

Sisters Maria and Ilena Kokkou create vibrant, practical bags inspired by their Greek roots.perfect for daily use, holidays, or the beach. They designed our collection of stylish pouches and bags, available in our shop.

PRINTSIN​

PrintSin was created by Eva Theofanidis and is based in the center of Athens, Greece. Our curator of Limited Edition Fine Art Prints in The Modernist rooms and common spaces, Eva Theofanidis studied Fine Arts and has a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD).

KRAMA​

KRAMA Studio, founded by Billy Filippaios and Eva Kalogeropoulou, crafts high-quality metallic pieces, including the Modernist Pens and striking metal structures across our Athens hotel.

PALOV​

Spilios Christopoulos (Palov) began mixing at 14 and has performed with Quantic, Nickodemus, and Bonobo. A global crate digger and producer for Spang Recordings, he curated our vinyl collection and created The Modernist playlists, available in our hotels and on Spotify.

Kyriakos Gialenios

Kyriakos is a talented local young author and experienced bookseller of IANOS bookstores. He carefully curated the list of books you’ll find in our rooms and common areas.

EME ESE ​

EME ESE is an Athens-based fragrance brand blending Greek and Mexican influences to create scents rooted in memory and ritual. With over 30 years of expertise, they craft unique, genderless fragrances for body and space. The Modernist Scent reflects their minimal, sensory approach.

TAF COFFEE ​

We believe that good days start with great coffee that’s why we’ve partnered with Taf Coffee team – coffee specialists and experts in the coffee industry. Our guests can always enjoy a great cup of coffee at our properties but also take the unique Modernist Espresso blend with them.

ABLOOM

Since opening its doors in May 2023 on Archelaou Street, ABLOOM has been crafting bespoke, free-flowing floral arrangements inspired by the worlds of travel, poetry, painting, and photography. Founder Nena Mageira thoughtfully curates each bloom, bringing beauty and intention to our spaces and to the experiences of our special guests.

BLEECKER & LOVE

Together with Bleecker & Love, we’ve united our passion for quality, style, and thoughtful design. The result is a collection that pairs The Modernist’s sleek elegance with Bleecker & Love’s bold spirit and practicality, locally crafted pieces that bring both flair and function to every journey.

CHOE​

CHOE was founded in a small Corfu village with a vision to create natural products that bring harmony and a touch of luxury to everyday life. Inspired by ancient Greek culture, their designs use natural materials like wood, fabric, glass, and bronze, reflecting the beauty of all four seasons.

BETTY'S BAKERY

Born from a love of honest ingredients and slow craftsmanship, Betty’s Bakery reimagines sourdough with a soulful, modern twist. Each loaf, stone-milled, naturally fermented and rich with flavor, is a quiet celebration of real bread. You’ll find their bread gracing The Modernist Athens breakfast and Café menu.

FUTURE FORMAT

Blending heritage with innovation, this iconic Greek printing house has been mastering the art of print since 1980. Our collaboration reflects a shared commitment to quality and aesthetics, each piece a testament to the synergy between our vision and their artisanal expertise.

AMINO ANIMO

Organic, plant-based proteins by our friends at Physis Laboratory. The perfect boost after a rooftop wellness session or before a busy day. Enjoy at our hotels and cafés in Athens & Thessaloniki, in collab with the amazing AMINO ANIMO crew.
